Prince Harry may have expressed interest in reconciling with his family as soon as possible, but is he doing anything to see it come true? Or is he just going to put it out there in the universe every once in a while and expect the universe to magically make it possible for him?
Yeah, he did say he’s been trying to get ahold of his father, but that the elderly monarch was clearly avoiding his calls. But perhaps it’s because King Charles has already predicted the nature of his calls. Will Prince Harry ever get off his high horse and apologize for the pain he knowingly inflicted?
Royal Expert Says Royal Family Only Cast Prince Harry Out Because of Oprah Tell-all and ‘Spare’
Prince Harry may have stunned his family by choosing to resign from royal duties alongside his wife, but, according to royal expert and biographer Robert Jobson, he still wouldn’t have been entirely cast out had he not made several attempts to damage the monarchy’s reputation.
One notable time that Harry might have been invited back by his family was the VE Day, which would have been important to the Prince due to his decade of service with the military.
But no, that day was so astoundingly as Harry free as it could get.
Jobson said: “Maybe there was a degree of that bitterness in what he gave that interview with the BBC, a sense, again, he wasn’t there – and he knows he should be there. A lot of people blame Meghan for a lot, I don’t blame her at all.”
He went on to note, “A lot of people blame Meghan for a lot, I don’t blame her at all. I think he’s got to be man enough to make his own decisions and some of the decisions he’s made have been absolutely got wrong.”
Continuing to speak on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show, he explained, “Nobody said you shouldn’t go away and have a private life but if he hadn’t done the book and if he hadn’t done the Oprah interview, there’s no doubt in my view that he would have been invited back to do certain things.”
Royal photographer Arthur Edwards shared Jobson’s sentiment, adding that Harry had several chances to apologize, but didn’t take it. “He didn’t say ‘look, I probably got that wrong, Dad, and I’m sorry, William.’”
