Maybe they just couldn’t find a babysitter for that day. There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are bringing their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to King Charles’ coronation even though they weren’t technically invited. Here’s what you need to know.

According to royal expert Nigel Cawthorne, he believes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are going to continue doing things their way, regardless of what anyone has to say about it. In other words, they are not going to let the royals continue to make their lives difficult by telling them where their kids can or can’t go.

Cawthorne said, “[Harry and Meghan] are so self-absorbed that they want the fancy balls, while rejecting the rest of it. I think they are just trying to have their cake and eat it.”

What’s more, the royal expert also criticized the Sussexes for adding royal titles to their children’s names, even though they spent the last several months criticizing the monarchy.

Cawthorne put it this way, “I would have thought Meghan will come with Harry, as well as the prince and princess. [Harry might say] ‘I’m turning my back on the monarchy, but my children are a prince and princess. If you’re turning your back on the monarchy and royalty, it’s very odd you would do that.”

So far Harry and Meghan have not made any comments about the coronation and have not said whether or not their children will be there or if they will attend it at all. It does seem like some royal experts out there might be jumping the gun with all of their predictions.
