Was this week’s exclusive and expensive dinner Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoyed with David Foster and Katharine McPhee an occasion to break some good news as well as bread? The Daily Mail revealed that the chummy couples dined Tuesday night at a swanky Montecito restaurant after it was discovered on Thursday that McPhee and David are expecting their first child together.

Were The Two Couples Celebrating McPhee’s Recently Announced Pregnancy?

According to the outlet, it’s the first time Harry and Meghan have been seen in public in Montecito since moving into their very own home there. McPhee and Foster also live in the tony enclave.

The couples enjoyed a meal at Lucky’s Steakhouse Main, where a steak will set you back about $60, and it’s likely they drank a toast to the Fosters’ new family addition. They dined outdoors in the restaurant’s covered patio.

According to the Daily Mail, McPhee and Foster arrived at the restaurant at 7:20 pm and were joined by Harry and Meghan, who pulled up in a chauffeured SUV with security, 10 minutes later. Meghan opted for a California casual look in cropped trousers, barely-there stilettos, and a trench coat. Harry matched her low key look in dark pants, white button-down shirt, and casual lace-up shoes.

All in all the friendly foursome enjoyed three hours chatting together before leaving at 10.30 pm. McPhee has previously gushed about how her husband is like a “surrogate father” to Harry and it’s been rumored that the four plan to spend Christmas together as well.

This is McPhee’s first child and her and Foster’s first child together. The couple married in London in 2019. Foster has five daughters and has been married numerous times including unions with celebs Linda Thompson and Yolanda Hadid.

Earlier in the week Foster and McPhee were spotted shopping in town and McPhee recently resumed filming on her upcoming Netflix series Country Comfort. Meghan and Harry recently signed a Netflix deal of their own despite neither one having any production experience.

In September McPhee posted a pic of the cast doing a table read with the caption, “and we’re back!”

The Young and the Restless alum Eddie Cibrian (Matt Clark) is also in the series. He was formerly married to Brandi Glanville who is best known for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and is currently married to singer LeAnn Rimes.
