Sure, they have other irons in the fire–a Netflix documentary about polo and American Riviera Orchard. But neither venture has captured the public’s interest and the Markles seem to be permanently stalled in their quest for fame, four years after their fateful “flight to freedom.”
Royal pundit Hugo Vickers told Express UK that it’s breathtaking how far the couple, especially Harry, have fallen: “It’s very difficult because he is part of an extraordinary institution and then suddenly he’s cut free from that. It’s a brave step into an unknown world.”
He added that they can’t keep freeloading off others forever noting “Unless they keep coming up with new initiatives and new goods, they’re going to disappear like so many other celebrities.”
