Great American Family Channel spoilers tease Candace Cameron Bure is making a new Christmas movie. She hinted at an upcoming Christmas film on her social media; could it be the sequel to Home Sweet Christmas featuring her friend Cameron Mathison?
It’s Been Confirmed She’s Shooting A Christmas Movie
This year, CCB did not celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, which is good news for Christmas movie fans. Candace Cameron Bure shared on Instagram Stories that she celebrated early with her family since she is away filming a movie.
She posted a short IG Story on Tuesday in a red dress and jacket, asking fans to guess the type of movie she is making, which she confirmed is a Christmas movie.
Although she didn’t provide many details, it seems that fans of the Full House star already have their guesses. She is definitely shooting A Home Sweet Christmas Wedding, which is mentioned on the industry website Creative BC.
What Will The Movie Be About?
The movie is being made from May 12 to May 30; Paula Elle, who directed the first film, is also directing this one. During a Facebook Live event in January, CCB shared that she would be making her first sequel movie with her friend Cameron Mathison, so this news was expected.
Although Great American Family hasn’t provided details about A Home Sweet Christmas Wedding, fans of Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Mathison might want a recap of the original Home Sweet Christmas.
For clues about the sequel, in the first movie, CCB plays Sophie Marlow, a successful attorney in mergers and acquisitions. After her Uncle Henry passes away, he leaves her 60 percent of Marlow Maple Meadows, a sugar maple forest used for making maple syrup.
Sophie And Sam Might Be Getting Married In The Sequel
Sophie arrives at the farm and recalls her happy visits from the past-life has kept her away for years; while exploring, she runs into her childhood friend Sam, played by Cameron Mathison. Sam is there because he inherited 40 percent of the farm after Uncle Henry’s will.
Now, the old friends are spending time together on the farm, which is valuable and could sell for a good price; however, they aren’t quite ready to part with it.
Fans might expect that this sequel will feature Sam and Sophie getting married at the sugar maple farm, but Great American Media hasn’t shared any details about it yet. Are Candace Cameron Bure fans excited for her reunion with Cameron Mathison?
