Prince Harry Claims He And Meghan Were FORCED To Flee The UK Due To Security Issues

In his latest court appearance against the Home Office, Prince Harry insisted that the only reason he and Meghan Markle left the Royal Family was because their security was downplayed.

He made it clear that he wasn’t going to be risking his life and that of his wife’s by returning to the UK if he didn’t get proper security.

In 2020, Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals, subsequently losing their IPP status. Since then, Harry has tried every trick in the book to get it back, including offering to pay for said police protection.

During the High Court session, Harry’s lawyer Shaheed Fatima KC read a statement by the Duke, 39.

“It was with great sadness for both of us that my wife and I felt forced to step back from this role and leave the country in 2020,” Harry said. “The UK is my home. The UK is central to the heritage of my children and a place I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the United States.”

On the other hand, the Home Office argued that Harry is very much capable of providing his family with the security they need whenever he visits.

So to recap, Harry is fighting to get taxpayer funded security even though he’s no longer a working royal. To win this war, he cited that the country would be ashamed to find a Prince of the realm was killed due to lack of protection. He named his mother’s death as an example, and pleaded that this can be avoided.

He added that his family cannot feel at home in the UK if their security wasn’t assured.

“The UK is my home. The UK is central to the heritage of my children and a place I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the United States.”

Harry’s team further argued that RAVEC’s decision to deny him round the clock security was irrational, and that people in similar positions are treated better.

The judge’s decision will be made in the coming weeks. At the moment, Harry is also battling with ANL after accusing them of breaching his privacy.
