Royal expert and author Daniela Elser, who often has something or another to say about the royal family, took to her column for News.com.au to explain that the buck is soon going to stop here for Harry and Meghan.

That’s because they will no longer be able to control the narrative about their anti-royal admissions like they have up until this point.

In her column, Elser said, “For year upon year now, all we have gotten is Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex’s truth. We have gotten their truth via TV interviews, print interviews, podcasts and six hours of soft-lit small screen emoting so at this stage the only medium left for them to share their journey is interpretative dance.”

She continued, “Essentially, Harry and Meghan’s version has largely gone untested and unchallenged in any official way. Until now. This legal news caps off what would have to be one of the bumpiest periods for the duke and patron saint of London barristers.”

Prince Harry has long said that his biggest problem with the media is that they’ve always tried to invade his privacy and use him as a fictional character in their never-ending soap opera about the royal family.

At the same time, many critics have pointed out that both Harry and Meghan have used the media to tell their side of the story of this supposed soap opera and have even fueled more rumors, reports and speculation by doing so. It certainly is a double edge sword and one that no one wants to put down.

Now, whether or not Harry will win his legal cases against the media remains to be seen. So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
