Prince Harry might be close to getting the security protection that he wants when he visits the UK. However, some of his reasons for it seem a bit at odds with his levels of danger. Read on to find out more.
Harry Wants The Full package Of Security
The taxpayers of the UK would have to fork out the bill for this security, and when Mark Dolan and Rupert Balgar discussed it on Talk TV on Sunday, they talked about him wanting all “the bells and whistles.”

There was apparently, some sort of staking incident that was mentioned that added to the request for extra protection when Prince Harry visits Britain.
If you don’t know, the security request arrived from Harry in a personal letter to Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood. The decision, which sources say may come in weeks, would reverse his current status and end a long legal battle he previously lost.
The Decision Might Be Favorable
Rupert Balgar felt that it might go Harry’s way, and mentioned that “he’s working so hard to get it.” If there were real threats to his security the last time he visited the UK then perhaps there is “some credibility” to his claims.
Balgar and Dolan also chatted about whether Meghan and the kids might visit the UK if the state-funded security happens. However, Rupert doubted that. After all, she’s shown little interest or “inclination to pop over here.”
It wasn’t entirely a one-sided discussion, but both of the commentators agreed that while they do feel for Prince Harry, there seem to be some discrepancies.
Consistency Seems Lacking
Dolan questioned Prince Harry’s consistency. As he noted, the Duke of Sussex certainly doesn’t mind traveling a lot. And, some of those places probably pose bigger risks to his security than the UK does.
The duo discussed Nigeria, Ukraine, and other travels to various global destinations. “So is there a degree of double standards here from the prince?” Dolan asked.
Rupert Balgar agreed with that criticism. “And this is where I think people get slightly frustrated with him,” he said, noting Harry’s willingness to visit other countries. “So I have to say Harry does operate quite often in the land of double standards.”
Still Wanting To Be Half In?
Not unlike other royal commentators, the duo seemed to believe that better security could mean that the prince might still want to resume royal duties on a “half-in half-out basis.” However, neither of them saw that happening.
Still, if the new security with lots of bells and whistles happens for Prince Harry, then possibly, he might actually be able “to rebuild bridges.” And who isn’t growing tired of that discussion about being on good or bad terms with the family?
One thing though, is it might be nice for Harry to visit the UK without worrying about the safety of his children and his wife. But, whether it ever leads to full reconciliation really can’t be guessed at right now.
