Prince Harry “Objectified” And “Rarely Respected” Women In His Memoir “Spare”

At this point, it’s clear that Prince Harry’s memoir “Spare” is more damaging to himself than it is for his family.

And for those trying to excuse the misogynistic words in his book as the actions of a young boy, let’s remember that he wrote these words at the age of 38, and yet he showed as much remorse for his actions as I do when my mom recalls a phase when I only wanted to wear pink clothes.

He doesn’t only seem to have a thing against women, he also has a thing against the disabled, describing poor Pat as someone “who doesn’t seem to get much joy out of life.” Why? Well, according to him, she was “crooked” and “chronically stiff” on her knees and spine, and yet making fun of her gave him the “most enthusiasm”. The man is obviously a sadist, but I’ll leave criticisms of him to another capable writer, who has empathy towards the “mischievous” 38-year-old.

Ulrika Jonsson On Harry’s Treatment Of Women In “Spare”

Ulrika Jonsson, of course, begins her piece by describing Harry’s greatest pain: the death of his mother when he was 12 years of age, which plays a significant part in Harry’s memoir. When he talks about believing his mother was alive many years after her death, heart strings were pretty much pulled.

Prince Harry “Objectified” And “Rarely Respected” Women In His Memoir “Spare”, Royal Expert Says

But throughout the book, we see Harry’s view on women “bordering on brutal and at others, dismissive,” Jonsson writes.

“His view of women appears to be of a group of one-dimensional people — either objectified or dismissed. There to be used for his own gratification but rarely respected.”

Continuing on, Jonsson writes, “with almost the only exception being his granny, our late Queen. His teenage years have him talking about his matrons at school in terms of how “horny” they made him feel.

“He refers to “crushes” and them suddenly being “hot”. Apart from, that is, the one they all cruelly bullied because of her disability. He also comments on all the “pretty girls” in a university prospectus.”

And of course the “stallion” sex with an “older woman” that “smacked” his ass and sent on his way after his work was done.

Camilla Parker Bowles he savages, Catherine he passes off as “sweet and kind” but kinda not very bright, and all the other girls as having “throne syndrome” – willing to give it all to be with him. And yet he couldn’t hold down two of his most famous ex-girlfriends.

Rounding up her piece, Jonsson reflects: “I’m yet to be convinced that Harry has an equal view of men and women.”
