Prince Harry recently revealed that he was terrified that Meghan Markle was going to leave him after a nasty fight that they had gotten into that also led him to seek therapy. Here’s what you need to know.

During an interview with trauma expert Dr. Gabor Mate, the Duke of Sussex said that the fight that he had gotten with his wife Meghan really did change his life, and for the better. He said that he even needed a little “pushback” because he was afraid of losing her.

In his book Spare, while Harry doesn’t go into detail over what led to the fight, he does say that things got pretty sloppy and that it was so bad that even Meghan told him that she would never stand being spoken like that again.

Explaining that Meghan helped “save” him, Harry said, “I was stuck in this world and she was from a different world and helped draw me out. Yes, my partner is an exceptional human being and I’m eternally grateful for the wisdom and the space that she’s been able to give to me.”

What’s Next For Prince Harry?

While no one really knows what the fight was about, Harry and Meghan do seem to be living more of a harmonious life in their sunny Southern California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet. As many royal fans know, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family and haven’t looked back since.
