Prince Harry’s Invictus Games Is To Lose Major FundingWhile many people might criticize Prince Harry for his new life with Meghan Markle, his Invictus Games are truly worthwhile. The Duke of Sussex launched the games to help injured and disabled veterans. However, a major charity will no longer be involved with the Invictus Games. Read on to find out what is happening with the support for the worthwhile Games.

Prince Harry’s Invictus Games lose charitable support

The UK Ministry of Defence recently announced that the Help for Heroes charity will no longer support the games. The Telegraph’s reporter, Camilla Tominey, writes that the Help for Heroes charity will no longer be associated with the Games.

In fact, the Ministry of Defence took the decision prior to last month’s Invictus Games in The Hague. Meanwhile, it was decided to delay the news so as not to cast a shadow on the Games.

The Telegraph reports that since the Invictus Games first launched in 2014, Help for Heroes has been involved. In fact, the charity was an active participant in the selection and training of Team UK, together with the Royal British Legion. Now, however, the Royal British Legion will be alone in the training and development of the UK team for the next Games.

Help for Heroes announcement

The announcement was made by the services director for Help for Heroes, Lis Skeet. She said that the charity was “incredibly proud to have trained, supported and delivered” Team UK for the past five Games.

Skeet continued saying that, following extensive discussions, the Ministry of Defence has decided that the “end-to-end delivery” of Team UK in the Invictus Games will be led by the Royal British Legion. Skeet added that the Royal British Legion will also be the “main funder” of the program.

Decision about the Invictus Games made by the Ministry of Defence

However, the services director also noted that this decision wasn’t made by the charity itself. “The MoD considered proposals from the Invictus UK partnership and have chosen this route moving forward,” she added.

Meanwhile, Skeet explained that their focus will now be on helping more people across the UK. This will be “within their communities” and will be part of keeping their promise to be there for wounded veterans. Moreover, they will do so for as long as they required help. Moreover, she concluded that the charity will continue to cheer Team UK on. In fact, they look forward to seeing what the Invictus Games will achieve in the future.

Harry and Megan's foundations are continuing to crumble under their feet.
Their money-making schemes are failing. Corporations are dropping them. Charities are withdrawing their support. Soon, Harry will be forced to make a major decision. Keep fighting a losing battle in the US, or return to England with his children, apologize to the Royal Family, and hope they accept him back and allow him to become a full-time working Royal again.
