There’s a new report that says Prince William and Kate Middleton failed to attend King Charles’ pre-Christmas lunch this year.
Or at least, that’s the way it looked like for the press as the Prince and Princess of Wales were nowhere to be seen even though other members of the royal family were seen arriving and leaving Windsor Castle this week. Here’s what you need to know.

Why did Prince William and Kate Middleton fail to attend King Charles’ pre-Christmas lunch with the rest of the royal family? That’s what royal fans and critics alike want to know.
While the lunch is traditionally held at Buckingham Palace each year, this is the second time that King Charles has held it at Windsor Castle.
It goes without saying that many royal fans and critics alike have had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some have even commented with, “I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Kate squeezed in a holiday in the tropics with the kids between the carol concert and the Sandringham pap walk.
The carol concert was on dec 8th. And i think that was basically her last engagement of the year,” along with, “Since William is no longer dependent on Charles for money, it seems as if he feels like he doesn’t have to show up at things like the Christmas lunch, especially since they are spending the holiday at Sandringham and he’ll see most of the cousins there.”
Royal Family News: What Happened To William And Kate?
Another critic wrote, “Did William and Kate really no-show or did they just use another entrance? They do live on the Windsor Estate after all and probably can walk to the Castle. Or if they’re actually living at Windsor Castle then it’s unlikely that the press will see them driving through the gates. I think the press will demand that the Christmas Luncheon be returned to BP next year so they can get better pictures of the royals including William and Kate entering and leaving the Palace.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.

I don’t think it’s anyone’s business what they did. Strictly between them and King Charles.
Nope they were there.They are living in Adelaide Cottage of the Windsor grounds ten mnts walking distance from Windsor Castle.The were a bit earlier than the rest of the family reason why they aren’t any pictures taken of them arriving or exiting in cars to and from tthe castle.
That concert Catherine puts on is exhausting. Maybe they just stayed home with the kids… maybe she has morning sickness. No one’s business but their’s.
Since no one seems to know if or why William and Kate weren’t at the luncheon, it seems snide to keep saying they “failed” to attend. To slant the story so they sound bad is trying too hard regarding a non-story.
