Prince William And Kate Scoff At Prince Harry And Meghan’s Headline-Grabbing Paparazzi Chase?

This is definitely not the kind of headline that anyone wants to wake up to on any given Wednesday morning. It’s been suggested that Prince William and Kate Middleton might be scoffing at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle behind the scenes after it was revealed that they were in a “near catastrophic” chase with the paparazzi on Tuesday night.

However, it seems like recollections may vary as some reports suggest that the paparazzi chase was nowhere near as dramatic as the Sussexes’ spokesperson is making it out to be. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Page Six, the latest reports suggest that there was a chase on Tuesday night, but that no one was hurt and that no one was arrested, either.

However, a spokesperson for the NYPD did release a statement that said, “There were numerous photographers that made their transport challenging. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at their destination, and there were no reported collisions, summonses, injuries or arrests in regard.”

New York City Mayor Eric Adams did confirm the reports about the chase and added, “I don’t think there are many of us who don’t recall how [Harry’s] mom died. It would be horrific to lose innocent bystanders during a chase like this and [for] something to have happened to them as well. It’s clear that the paparazzi want to get the right shot, they want to get the right story, but public safety must always be at the forefront.”

Buckingham Palace Has No Comment About The Chase

Interestingly enough, Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, but at this point it’s doubtful that they will, seeing how Harry and Meghan are no longer full-time working royals. Yet, it’s been suggested that William and Kate and the rest of the royal family are scoffing over all this, seeing how Harry often complains about the paparazzi, yet attract the paparazzi’s attention at the same time.

Meghan wore a gold strapless dress for the Women in Visions gala, in which she received an award. Yet, some critics think that this all could have been avoided if Harry and Meghan didn’t act like celebrities. Do you agree?
