Wow, the royals are maybe coming to America. After winning the popularity contest both in the UK and America, the Prince and Princess of Wales are planning to expand their charity organization across the ocean, to Harry and Meghan’s own playing field. What can I say? The real royals are winning hearts.

Prince William and Kate Files To Register Their Royal Foundation in the US

Prince William and Kate seem to be developing an even closer relationship with America, following their visit to the country last year to host the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards.

Since then, William has already traveled to the country again to take part in a United Nations panel addressing climate change.

It is understood that the Waleses want to expand their charity reach to the US after their foundation was registered with the country’s Patent and Trademark Office.

The application was filed on May 12 for “The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales,” which is registered at Prince William and Princess Catherine’s London address, Kensington Palace.

The Foundation Aims To Use Research And Enduring Partnerships To Bring About A Sustainable Positive Change In Our Environment And Our Culture.

This includes tackling climate change, mental health issues, promoting the Early Years and promoting youth creativity and so much more.

The organization has already launched campaigns such as Prince William’s environmental “Earthshot Prize” and Princess Catherine’s early childhood initiative, “Shaping Us.”

It is possible that the couple filed for the US registration just to protect their foundation’s name in the country and to make it reflect their new titles, the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Still, it proves that the couple is interested in carrying out charity work in the country sometime in the future. According to the application the trademark covers “public awareness campaigns” and “charitable activities in the field of mental health.”

The news of the registration is coming as Harry and Meghan hit a stall in their rebranding process.

It is understood that Meghan is still very much interested in relaunching her blog, even though she isn’t getting many sponsorship deals at the moment. The Sussexes are yet to announce any upcoming projects.
