If there’s anything that we’ve learned about Prince William over the years, it’s going to be his way, or no way. And that seems to be the case once again as there’s a new report that suggests the Prince of Wales is being rather controlling with his wife, Kate Middleton.

That’s because he keeps on warning his wife that there will be consequences for talking to his estranged brother, Prince Harry. But it might not be exactly what you think.

He’s more worried that his wife Kate is going to get attached to her brother-in-law and that she’ll end up disappointed and heartbroken again if things don’t work out.

Not only that, but there’s also the chance that Prince Harry might leak their conversations to the media again, and that’s the last thing anyone wants to see in the royal family.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “William doesn’t like having to put his foot down with Kate, but he sees this as necessary to protect everyone.

What he’s most worried about is that anything Kate says to Harry could be twisted or resurface later – especially if there’s another book, or if Meghan decides to tell her own side of the story.”

“He’s made it clear to the rest of the family that they should keep their distance from the Sussexes, because anything shared could be turned against them.”

The insider added, “Kate’s deeply upset with Harry, but she’s also frustrated that William and the rest of the family have allowed things to deteriorate this badly. It’s heartbreaking for her to watch the family so publicly divided.”

Now, whether or not Prince Harry does manage to make amends with the rest of the royal family remains to be seen.
