While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still working hard to become a Hollywood power couple in California, Prince William and Kate Middleton also want to be a part of the show business clique, even if it’s from Kensington Palace.

One source close to the situation has even suggested that the Prince and Princess of Wales have appointed a producer from the BBC Drama Call the Midwife to help boost their profile among the acting elite.

Dame Pippa Harris has worked with the likes of Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio and more in the past.

Now, whether or not William and Kate will be making their way to more royal carpets in the future remains to be seen. Yet, many royal fans and critics alike have commented on the matter with, “Isn’t Will the BAFTA guy?

There are industry people all up in there. Why can’t he beg some of them to be his friends or whatever,” along with, “I watch Call the Midwife and love the show, but honestly, Dame who??

William needs to concentrate his energies in his own country and the commonwealth, never mind chasing Harry.”

Another critic wrote, “William is the president of the UK version of the Oscars so he should be swimming in celebrity connections. If that’s all the celebrity connection he can get that’s sad for a future king given his position as president and heir. This proves that no one cares about Willy and his co-parent if Harry and Meghan aren’t attached because what was the reason to even include them in this article about the so called important royals.”
