Prince William’s Trip To New York City Failed To Get Any Coverage

Yikes. This definitely has to sting for the royal family. Prince William is currently in New York City for the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit, but it seems like either many people don’t know or they simply just don’t care as the media is covering very little about his trip. Prince William’s Trip To New York City Fails To Get Any Coverage

The Prince of Wales is currently in the Big Apple. But because his wife Kate Middleton is not with him and also because everyone is still talking about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Invictus Games in Germany, William’s not getting the attention that you’d think he would get.

That, or the American media is ignoring William the same way that William is ignoring them.

There was a report earlier that indicated the Prince of Wales refuses to do any interviews while in New York City mostly because he doesn’t want to be asked about his brother, Prince Harry.

Yet, William did have a lot of praise for Americans. He said, “No one does optimism and ingenuity like the American people, so it’s only right we unveil this year’s Earthshot finalists in New York City. Eighty years ago, the world came together in this great city to find a new way, through the U.N., to solve our shared challenges.”

He continued, “I know our generation can take the bold action we need to make changes towards a healthy and sustainable world. The challenge may feel huge, but as John F Kennedy taught us, we rise to the challenge not because it is easy, but because it is hard. And vital.”

Perhaps if his wife Kate Middleton would have joined him, Prince William would have at least gotten some attention by the likes of Page Six and the Daily Mail, but that hasn’t happened. Or at least, it hasn’t happened yet. Watch this space as we are sure there is more to come.
