Princesses Beatrice & Eugenie Have NO DESIRE To Help Out While King Charles and Kate Are Recuperating

British royal family news shows that that with the royal family in dire straits, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will not step up to help out because they “have no interest in full-time work.” To be fair they are both raising families, and have never been very involved in the day to day goings on of the monarchy.

But now, after Megxit, and King Charles and Princess Catherine’s dual health crises last week, the monarchy is dangerously low in resources. This would be the perfect time for the sisters to step up and fill the void, yet one royal expert doubts that will happen.

According to Sky News, “Royal author Victoria Arbiter rubbished rampant speculation the York sisters could become working royals and claimed the sisters, who are the most senior non-working Windsors, have no interest in full time work.”

Arbiter said flat-out that the mid-30 sisters Beatrice and Eugenie have zero “desire” to take on full-time duties.

She added “As the only blood-born princesses of their generation, it would be wonderful to see Beatrice and Eugenie take on more responsibility.” Arbiter told Britain’s GB News on Saturday: “But neither have indicated a desire to do so.”

Highlighting the need for more royals to step up, a think tank study revealed that the number of royal engagements conducted each year is dropping because there are not enough royals to attend.

The report’s author Frank Young warned “The Royal Family risks abolishing itself by stealth if the King doesn’t boost its working membership.”

There are 11 working royals including: Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Anne, Princess Royal, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.

In 2023 Kate and William had a workload of 172 and 128 engagements respectively, but that will drop dramatically because the Princess is not expected back in action until spring due to an abdominal surgery.

King Charles is also expected to lose many engagements following last week’s prostate surgery.

Additionally, William must decrease his engagements as he helps to care for the couple’s three children. Both King Charles and Princess Catherine are currently admitted at the London Clinic hospital.
