Queen Elizabeth Left Disappointed With Kate Middleton And Meghan Markle

Queen Elizabeth was left utterly disappointed with Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle before her death last year.

That’s because the late Queen of England was hoping that the two sister-in-laws would form a bond similar to what Princess Diana had with Sarah Ferguson.

That, and she also wanted them to work closely together. Sadly, that never happened. Here’s what you need to know.

According to The Mirror, Queen Elizabeth had high hopes for Kate and Meghan but the bitter feud between them caused a hug right between Prince William and Kate and Prince Harry and Meghan.

The two couples are still not speaking to one another to this day. A lot of people think it will be years before they ever speak to one another, let alone stand in the same room together.

Royal expert Inrid Seward says that Her Late Majesty wanted to see Kate and Meghan join forces. But instead, they got into petty arguments about bridesmaid dresses before Meghan even officially became a member of the royal family.

It seems like no one, including Kate Middleton herself, wanted to give the former Hollywood actress a chance.

Seward put it this way, “Prince Harry’s place in the royal family has changed dramatically since the death of his grandmother and his father became King. Instead of the prominent role, he would have had, Harry was relegated to the bottom of the royal list. Almost but not quite an outsider.”

She continued, “The Queen had high hopes that the foursome might spearhead the monarchy of the future. Sharing the sometimes demanding, duller duties and supporting their father into the future when she was no longer around.”

So far Buckingham Palace hasn’t made any comments about the matter but seeing how it’s been many long years since Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have even had a simple conversation with one another, it’s doubtful that their feud will end anytime soon.
