Royal Family News: Another Prince Harry And Meghan Failure, Their ‘Kardashian Style’ Netflix Show DOA?

British royal family news claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly are looking to delay their “Keeping Up With the Markles” style “docuseries” after the Queen’s death. What sounds every inch like a reality show for Netflix is apparently in the dock, “until next year, multiple sources have told Page Six.”

The couple who call themselves the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live in California with their two children, Archie, three, and one-year-old Lilibet. After they abandoned the monarchy they signed up with Netflix yet have produced nothing to date. That’s a trend that looks to be continuing.

They have a $100 million deal with the streamer who must be steamed with the work-shy pair at this point. “It was previously expected that the production would be aired in December, following the fifth season of The Crown on November 9, according to the publication. However, sources claimed the couple now want to make edits to the series, which would possibly delay its release until later in 2023, as they look to ‘downplay much of what they have said about King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales.’”

Royal Family News – Why Don’t The Markles Work?

A Hollywood insider told the outlet, “A lot of conversations are happening. I hear that Harry and Meghan want the series to be held until next year, they want to stall. I wonder if the show could even be dead in the water at this point, do Harry and Meghan just want to shelve this thing?”

Netflix has already cancelled Meghan’s cartoon life story, so what is another dead fish at this point, two years on from Megxit? Mortgage be damned, there is always Tyler Perry to run to ….

In contrast, a Netflix insider said, “Netflix has been keen to have the show ready to stream for December. There’s a lot of pressure on (Netflix CEO) Ted Sarandos, who has the relationship with Harry and Meghan, to get this show finished.” Friend Ted would appear to have learned his lesson the hard way, if he had spoken to Charles or William before giving away the keys to the kingdom, perhaps all of his angst could have been prevented?

This bombshell news comes on the heels of news from The Mail on Sunday, “that Harry has launched a last-minute bid to tone down his bombshell autobiography amid fears his final draft ‘might not go down too well’ in the wake of the Queen’s death.” Which means another failure to launch, as the book was due in fall. Can’t make this silliness up.
