Royal Family News: Disgraced Andrew Grins And Waves As He Leaves Balmoral “Hideout”

Prince AndrewBritish royal family news shows that disgraced Prince Andrew has finally been photographed leaving Balmoral today, rumored to be his hiding place after being served with papers in a sexual assault lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre.

What was the duke’s countenance? He looked like the cat that got the cream. He smiled and waved to photographers as if he had not a care in the world.

Royal Family News – Andrew Has Emerged

The Duke of York has been at the Queen’s Scottish estate for three weeks, with some speculating that he was hiding out in an effort to avoid being served legal documents. Andrew is accused by Giuffre of abusing her on multiple occasions in 2001 when she was a minor. His lawyer terms the allegations “baseless” and Andrew denies any wrongdoing.

Court papers show that Andrew challenged the acceptance of the lawsuit until September 21 when lawyers from both sides spoke. Subsequently an agreement was signed three days later, by Judge Lewis A. Kaplan.

According to MailOnline Andrew’s legal team has now accepted that the legal papers and this has been entered in the official public record. “The acknowledgment was confirmed in a joint agreement signed by a lawyer for Prince Andrew, approved by a Manhattan federal judge and entered into the public court record on Tuesday.”

Prince Andrew Is Charged In A Lawsuit

Giuffre’s lawyer expected the prince’s lawyers to apply for an extension to respond to the complaint and indicated he would likely agree to it.

The prince has a deadline of October 29 to file a response and a conference has been scheduled for November 3.

Previously Giuffre’s legal team told the judge that they’d delivered the lawsuit papers to Andrew in multiple ways, but never directly into his hands. As a result Britain’s high court agreed to formally contact Andrew about the lawsuit.

In 2019 Andrew told the BBC, “that he never had sex with Giuffre, saying, ‘It didn’t happen.’” He has steadfastly denied the allegations brought in his accuser’s lawsuit. The scandal has been viewed as a potential strain on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee scheduled to take place next year. Additionally she has the threat of Prince Harry’s sensationalized memoir dropping in 2022 to deal with.
