British royal family news teases that Chris Rock, Piers Morgan, Michelle Obama, and Bethenny Frankel have all gone public with their opinions of controversial lightening rod and former basic cable actress Meghan Markle.

You can add Rebel Wilson to that list and the Aussie actress and comedian doesn’t stray far from the negative narrative. Let’s break down how the alleged beef between these two women could have started.

Bridesmaids star Wilson recently spilled that in her eyes Meghan is, “not naturally warm,” a perspective gained after an “awkward” meet up with both Meghan and Harry. According to Wilson she has no clue as to why the former Suits actress wasn’t more enthusiastic; her fans think they know the answer.

Could it be that Wilson’s dig at Meghan during the 2022 BAFTA Awards started the beef?

In case you missed it, Rebel said at the time, “Our next package is for Outstanding British Film. From drama to horror to fantasy, Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah had it all.” She referred to the cringe tell-all interview in which the Markles dragged their families to a gobsmacked Oprah.

Rebel continued, “Unfortunately, that’s not nominated in this category, but some incredible films are. Let’s take a look at some of the most outstanding British films this year.”

Social media seized on this example to show how Rebel might have ticked off Meghan.

Royal Family News – Is Meghan A Rebel Fan?

But wait, there’s more! Ahead of the awards show, Rebel made another joke about Harry and Meghan to This Morning host Alison Hammond after a clip Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story was played. The clip featured the lyrics, “I like to be in America / Okay by me America.”

Rebel cracked that the song was, “Meghan and Harry’s new theme song.”

Last week Rebel brought up the Sussexes once again, saying that when she met the couple, Harry, “could not have been nicer,” but Meghan, “was not as cool. Meghan wasn’t as naturally warm.”

Then again, the reason for Meghan’s frostiness could lay with Rebel’s mom whom the actress admitted was semi-rude, asking, “Where are your kids?” Hmm, seems like Rebel acquired her funny girl schtick from her mom …?
