British royal family news reveals that Kate Middleton may have to get a bigger plate to hold all of the royal roles and responsibilities coming her way. Disgraced princes Harry and Andrew have been booted out of the monarchy and yet they remain counsellors of state, something odious to many royal fans and experts alike.
Now one expert is suggesting that Princess Kate Middleton be given the task instead. Viscount Stansgate, in the United Kingdom Parliament’s House of Lords, has officially challenged the men’s eligibility to be counsellors. Keep reading to find out what the task of being a counsellor entails.
Royal Family News – Kate Middleton Should Be A Counsellor?
Counsellors of state, “carry out important constitutional duties if the monarch – King Charles – is unwell or overseas. The role is handed to four adult royals next in the line of succession and the spouse of a sovereign.”
It seems like a no-brainer that Hollywood Harry and Out-of-Court Settlement Andrew be verboten as counsellors. Neither is in good standing with the monarchy and have been stripped of their honors, such as they are.
But according to NowToLove, “It is more difficult than believed to remove Harry and Andrew from the list, which now also includes Camilla, the Queen Consort, Prince William and Princess Beatrice following King Charles’ ascension.”
Royal Family News – Harry And Andrew Are Stripped
Craig Prescott told 9Honey that nothing short of a legislative change would oust Harry and Andrew from the counsellor list. But there could be an end around if the royal family chooses to take it.

“The most straightforward solution is simply to add to the pool of counsellors of state, other members of the royal family who may well be further down the line of succession but still conduct public duties,” Craig said.
“Obvious candidates include Princess Anne and Prince Edward,” neither of which have renounced the monarchy nor been accused of sexually abusing underage girls, a charge against Andrew which he denies. Craig also suggested that Charles consider the Princess of Wales, a move toward his reported wish to, “modernize the monarchy.” Tell us what you think royal fans, should Harry and Andrew be allowed to represent the monarch?
