Royal Family News: Kate Middleton Is A Tough But Fair Mom And ‘No Pushover’

Kate MiddletonBritish royal family news reveals that the life of Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge is as normal as can be, given the fact that she will one day be queen of England. According to People, “It’s the life of a working mom with three young children—just a different sort of day job to most.”

Apparently Kate does the school run like most moms (in her gym clothes no less) and has regular date nights with her dashing husband Prince William, future king of England.

Kate Middleton Strives To Have As Normal Of A Life As Possible

Kate is People’s feature story this week and in the mag fans learn all about how the talented and beautiful mom of three manages to pull everything off and look effortless at the same time.

The family have two residences, in Norfolk and the London residence at Kensington Palace. According to her friend, Kate is “very chilled at home. It’s a normal, busy family home with kids running around and knocking things over. There’s no airs and graces.”

Moms everywhere will be heartened to know that Kate is not perfect but, “when you see her behind closed doors with the children, she’s a very confident mom, and she’s no pushover. The children get told off if they act up.”

Kate Middleton Is A Fantastic Example For Working Moms Everywhere

As one might imagine, Kate doesn’t have time for fancy blow dries or mani-pedis while raising her brood. And when she gets the chance she enjoys some of the same comforts as other moms around the world.

“There are no blow-dries—it’s always hair up in a ponytail,” says the friend. “She’s either in her gym clothes, or a dress and sneakers, very little makeup, apologizing as she’s late for the school run before dashing off. It’s the life of a working mom with three young children—just a different sort of day job to most.”

There is no doubt that Kate’s children, Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2 are her number one priority. Contrary to what it may seem, the family do not have a team of staff caring for their kids, they have one longtime and trusted nanny, Maria Turrion Borrallo. Maria has been with them since 2014, when George was less than a year old. In addition to Maria, Kate has a right-hand aide, Natasha Archer, her stylist and personal assistant.

Prioritizing children’s mental and emotional well-being is a priority for Kate in her royal work as well.

The source added, “If you look at the people around her, it’s a tight team. She would be lost without Maria, Tash and everyone. They work very hard, but they make it possible for Kate to juggle everything.”

At the end of the day, “Kate is living the life that she talks about. She’s at the center of her family and then she’s dealing with the other things afterward.”
