According to a new report, the King of England has supposedly told the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that they can stay at their old home of Frogmore Cottage if they decide to travel to the UK with their two small children, Archie and Lilibet. As many royal fans know by now, King Charles had actually evicted Harry and Meghan from the home and has given it to Prince Andrew instead.

However, there are new reports indicating that Andrew had given the keys to Frogmore to his daughter Princess Eugenie, who is currently expecting her second child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. It’s even been said that Eugenie has already moved in and has also helped with some of the packing of Harry and Meghan’s stuff.

With that said, should Harry and Meghan attend the coronation, there’s a good chance that they might just crash with Eugenie at Frogmore anyhow, which makes Charles’ olive branch meaningless.

Plus, they also aren’t very happy with the fact that the coronation is also the same day as Archie’s 4th birthday. There’s a good chance that if they do come, they might prioritize the day for Archie and throw a little birthday party for him at Frogmore the same way they did for their daughter Lilibet’s second birthday last summer.

So far Harry and Meghan haven’t made any comments about the matter, but if they do come to the UK, it’s possible that they will only come as a formality and out of respect for King Charles on what will most likely be a very important day for him and his reign. For now, Charles might want to hang on to that olive branch and think of something else.
