Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Desperate For Netflix Projects, $100 Million Deal in Jeopardy?

British royal family news divulges that Meghan Markle dearly wants to stay employed at Netflix following her seriously rude dumping at Spotify. She and Harry allegedly are set to drain the streamer for $100 million so it makes sense that they would at least try to not look like grifters on the make.

According to OK “The Duchess of Sussex and her team are reportedly trying hard to get the green light on films and TV shows from Netflix before her and Prince Harry’s massive deal with the streaming giant runs out in 2025.”

The reported concern is real given that the untalented couple have done just one release with the streamer, a cheesy reality show about themselves titled Harry & Meghan. What is to stop Netflix from cancelling them after Spotify did so for reported lack of work ethic?

It’s thought that Harry’s Heart of Invictus project will drop soon, but that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from predicting that Netflix is fed up with the terrible twosome.

Royal Family News: The Markle’s In Trouble?

For whatever reason, the company sought to dispel the rumors with a curiously worded statement indicating their pleasure at being short-changed in the content department.

A rep stated “We value our partnership with Archewell Productions. Harry & Meghan was Netflix’s biggest documentary debut ever, and we’ll continue to work together on a number of projects, including the upcoming documentary series Heart of Invictus.”

Royal Family News: Archewell Stalled

After the Markles were cancelled at Spotify in June, a source claimed that Spotify has “been underwhelmed by the lack of productivity by the Sussexes.” But a Markle insider rebutted that sentiment saying that Harry and Meghan are “ready to come back stronger.”

The source dished “Quite frankly, both she and Harry are sick and tired of it” meaning all the recent backlash including United Talent CEO Jeremy Zimmer calling Meghan “not a great talent” and Spotify boss Bill Simmons labeling them “f****** grifters.” Will the two succeed at Netflix? The clock is ticking down to 2025.
