British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle has made a huge career move by signing with the powerhouse talent agency WME. According to HELLO! the agency will work to build Meghan’s “global enterprise.”
The outlet reports that multiple agency departments, including film and television production, and brand partnerships, will take charge of the American actress’ business and creative enterprises.

Specifically, “WME will also represent Archewell’s content banner, which includes her Spotify podcast, Archetypes.” It’s being reported that Meghan will be represented by Ari Emanuel “alongside agents Brad Slater and Jill Smoller; Jill is Serena Williams’ longtime agent.”
The signing makes sese because in September 2022 Meghan ended her relationship with her former agency, Sunshine Sachs.

HELLO! reported that the separation was not acrimonious as “the two entities had always planned to separate following the formation of the Archewell Foundation and have maintained a good relationship, and even continued to work together from time to time.”
Meghan worked with Sunshine Sachs when she was an actress on the basic cable show Suits and allegedly remained friendly with publicist Keleigh Thomas Morgan, who was at Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry in 2018 wedding.

Keleigh reportedly worked with Meghan and Harry to develop Sussex Royal, The Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, prior to Megxit in 2020.
According to Variety Meghan’s signing with WME is a move in which “overall business-building will be explored” and “Acting will not be an area of focus.”
Last year she was featured in a Variety cover story in which she talked about Archewell: “So much of how my husband and I see things is through our love story. I think that’s what people around the world connected to, especially with our wedding. People love love. I’m not excluded in that sentiment.”
The former Deal or No Deal Briefcase Girl added “For scripted, we want to think about how we can evolve from that same space and do something fun. It doesn’t always have to be so serious. Like a good rom-com. Don’t we miss them? I miss them so much.”
To date the couple, aka the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have two Netflix projects under their belts including the docuseries “Harry & Meghan” the most-streamed documentary premiere in Netflix history.
