Royal Family News: Prince George A Budding Artiste: Christmas Card Wows Fans

British royal family news divulges that Prince George has a bright future ahead of him as one in a long line of Windsor family monarchs. But did you know that is also a budding artist? In fact, he’s been compared to one of the world’s most recognized artists!

His talent came to be recognized publicly thanks to his proud parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales. On Christmas Day Prince William and Kate Middleton shared Christmas wishes on Twitter, and their message included a unique visual.

Prior to this the couple released their annual Christmas card which traditionally includes the entire family including Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

But it wasn’t that picture that they included on Twitter. Instead they decided to share a piece of George’s beautiful artwork.

Showing that this is the season of giving, the couple displayed an adorable painting made by their eldest son. He painted a cute reindeer that is set against a cheerful blue background with polka dots (or snow, artistic license you know).

The clever message read: “Happy Christmas! by George,” and the couple also tweeted an easel emoji. This is the kind of exposure every artist would love!

George’s reindeer has birds resting on its antlers, and a silly scoop of snow on his nose. Many on Twitter went gaga over George’s skills. And he was even compared to Bob Ross!

However there was the occasional boo bird, with one person tweeting: “I wish these people would be honest and stated this was a copy/inspiration from this card,” @Daisy1158 tweeted alongside a screenshot of the stock image.” Well, what a Scrooge, right?

Many others were much more complimentary with one person writing, “Kid’s got talent. That’s really good. Happy Xmas.”

Where did George’s talent come from? It could be that he inherited it as least partly from his paternal grandfather, King Charles. Charles’ art has been seen on rare occasion and his father, late Prince Philip, was also an accomplished artiste. This fall King Charles’ painting of Balmoral Castle sold for $6,500, even though it was originally valued at $675. It looks like George has something to fall back on if his king gig doesn’t work out ….
