Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Not Suing The Creators Of South Park For Parody Episode

They might not like being made fun of, but it’s not like they are about to sue someone because of a few jokes. British Royal News says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s spokesperson has denied the rumors suggesting that the royal couple is looking to slap a lawsuit on the creators and producers of South Park after they dedicated an entire episode of them mocking Harry and Meghan with a fictional prince and princess of Canada who travel the world while demanding their privacy. Here’s what you need to know.

Royal Family News – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Not Suing The Creators Of South Park For Parody Episode

According to People, the royal couple’s spokesperson says there’s no truth to the reports that say Harry and Meghan want to take South Park to court. The spokesperson said, “It’s all frankly nonsense. Totally baseless, boring reports.”

In the episode, the fictional prince and princess of Canada decide that they want to move to South Park because as the princess puts it, people would take them more seriously there.

They also travel the world complaining that they don’t get enough privacy while also demanding to be in the spotlight. If that weren’t enough, the episode also mocks Harry’s book, Spare, and calls it ‘Waaagh,’ instead, suggesting that the memoir is nothing but a bunch of whiny complaints from the prince.

Royal Family News – What’s Next For Harry and Meghan?

So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle themselves haven’t made any comments about the matter, but there were some reports suggesting that they weren’t too pleased with it.

But then again, the writers of South Park did take a dig at Prince William and Kate Middleton when they parodied their royal wedding way back in 2011. It would almost be odd if Harry and Meghan never made it on the show, right? Some would say that it’s almost like a right of passage, even if it is an animated one.
