Putting aside the latest laugh riot from the Markle’s for a moment, they also managed to flummox, along with entertain, by virtue of their comical move. The fact that this two non-essential personnel have hired a press secretary and head of communications has royal watchers wondering how this plays into the whole royal thing that they claim they want nothing to do with.

In other words, how are they going to balance their obviously full steam ahead personal platform and at the same time continue to insist that they are still a part of the Royal Family?

The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex Are Living Large In The United States

So, who exactly did they hire to be their mouthpiece and strategist? The Sussexes named Toya Holness as their press secretary and former Pinterest communications leads Christine Schirmer as their head of communications. Given their track record of discarding people they no longer have a use for it will be interesting to see how long these two people last in the Markle’s orbit. According to Harry and Meghan’s PR reps at Sunshine Sachs, Shirmer and Holness joined the Sussexes’ team last month.

Royal watchers point out that both hired guns will report to the Office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, not to their charitable foundation, Archewell. On a side note isn’t it rich that these two insist on using their royal monikers in a brazen bid to be relevant in any way possible?
