British royal family news reveals the shocking news that warring Prince Harry and Prince William were reunited in spirit today as they both blasted the BBC and Martin Bashir over a scandalous 1995 interview with their mother the late Princess Diana.
Harry lashed out that the interview was “unethical” while a livid William said Bashir’s, “lurid and false claims,” fueled Diana’s, “paranoia and isolation.” He added that his mother was, “resilient, brave, and unquestionably honest.”

Their harsh words came after judge Lord Dyson delivered an incendiary report into how the interview was obtained via deceit. He made it clear that Bashir lied to Princess Diana in order to obtain the interview, and that the BBC covered it up.
William went on to say that Bashir’s lies in obtaining the interview with Princess Diana brought about his parents’ divorce and, “hurt countless others.”
Prince Harry, who abandoned the royal family for a life of “financial freedom,” spoke from his California mansion to thank those who took, “some form of accountability,” for “owning it,” but added that, “the ripple effect of a culture of exploitation and unethical practices ultimately took [Diana’s] life.”
Royal Family News: Prince Harry Is Angry Again
In a statement issued the day of the ruling Prince William stated he has, “indescribable sadness,” that his final years with his mother were pocked by the isolation the Panorama interview reportedly caused.
He said that what saddens him the most is his belief that if a 1996 investigation into claims Diana was deceived by Bashir had been conducted “properly” he thinks his mother could have known the truth about the deception.
He added that the interview has, “no legitimacy,” and established a “false narrative” for 25 years. In a damning condemnation, he stated that BBC let his mother, his family, and the public down.
Royal Family News – Prince William Criticizes The BBC
Both William and Harry, as well as Charles, reportedly received apology letters from the BBC over Bashir’s conduct and the subsequent cover-up which has now been acknowledged.
It will be cold comfort, however, and some royal watchers are making strong claims against the BBC and Bashir, going so far as to question if they were responsible for Diana’s death. That is a bold accusation but there are many who believe that if the interview had not taken place Diana would be alive today.
