Meghan and Prince Harry had a little getaway in the UK, the home given to them by the late Queen Elizabeth Frogmore Cottage. This year it was learned that King Charles evicted the pair who have slammed him and the monarchy nonstop for three years.

A source told the outlet that the Duke and Duchess of Excess are “matter-of-fact” about being kicked to the curb and won’t argue with the monarch. The chatty source dished that Prince Harry and Meghan are happy to raise their children in California.

The latest family event to take place occurs on May 6 when Charles is officially crowned king. At the same time his second wife Camilla will be titled as the country’s queen.

But prior to this Harry was in London for a court case in March, and did not speak to his family. He will be at the coronation on May 6 but Meghan has chosen to remain in California for Prince Archie’s 4th birthday. It probably wasn’t a hard decision, wanting to blow out candles versus being at the biggest global event of 2023, where she could have seen and been seen.

Royal Family News – Meghan Stays Home

In their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey Harry spilled the dirt that he enjoys the “outdoor space where I can go for walks with Archie and we go for walks as a family and with the dogs. You know, we go on hikes or go down to the beach, which is so close.”

Last summer Prince Harry further integrated into the community by playing on a polo team at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club.

According to royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith the Markle’s decision to split their time between a birthday party and the coronation makes perfect sense: “It’s an elegant solution.” Still, one insider noted that while, “Meghan wants to be there to support her father-in-law, but at the same time, the scrutiny she receives outweighs the support.” And whose fault is that?
