British royal family news shows that Prince Harry apparently has little interest in developing a relationship with his stepmother Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. In this way he is the mirror image of his wife Meghan Markle, who has forsaken her ill father. Maybe it’s something in the oat milk lattes they’re drinking?

A royal expert claims that Harry’s dim bulb view of Camilla is something along the lines of no respect and little interest. At least he’s being wholly accurate?

Camilla married Harry’s father Prince Charles in 2005. But royal expert Ingrid Seward reveals that the pair’s relationship went, “went off the boil,” and Harry does not, “have a great deal of warmth for her.” At least not the same warmth he has for his polo ponies.

She told Mirror’s Pod Save the Queen podcast, “I don’t think Harry is interested in developing a relationship with his stepmother at this stage in his life.”

Ironically, Seward claims that and Prince Harry and his older brother and heir to the throne Prince William had been happy to welcome Camilla to the family. Apparently Camilla kept herself in the shadows and did not try to interfere with their lives.

That was then, but what about now? How does Harry view Camilla in the present day? Seward said, “I don’t think Harry has a great deal of warmth for her, he waxes and wanes with her. I don’t know about the recent trip but certainly I think Harry was quite happy to accept Camilla in the beginning but then went off the boil about her and I don’t think he holds her in great respect.”
Ingrid’s comments are a bit more nuanced that those of Princess Diana’s biographer Tina Brown. According to the former Vanity Fair editor, Harry “can’t stand” his stepmonster Camilla.

Royal Family News: Is Harry Not Ok With Camilla?

Brown is one of the royal insiders who thinks Harry’s upcoming memoir could be used as a weapon against his family. Would he really go after Camilla and his father with his words? There is precedent, many, with his sordid Oprah Winfrey tell-all interview standing as Exhibit A.

In April Brown said that Prince Charles’ spare son is likely to bite back at his fam in his memoirs due later this year. She noted of the trashy Oprah mudfest, “William was disgusted about Meghan’s attack on Kate because she can’t answer back. But that’s nothing compared to how furious he’s going to be when this book comes out. Because Harry’s not going to go after the Queen, she’s sacrosanct. And he probably won’t go after Kate, whom he’s very fond of. But he will go after Charles and Camilla and maybe William.”
