Royal Family News: Queen Elizabeth Struggling Following Sex Abuse Allegations Against Andrew

British royal family news reveals that Queen Elizabeth has had ups and downs in her nearly 70 year reign in the UK. This is a particularly stressful time for the monarch as, unlike years past, she is navigating choppy waters without her beloved husband of 73 years.

Prince Philip died in April at the age of 99. He was said to have been her rock, and as such he was undoubtedly called upon innumerable times over the years to bolster his wife in both her private and professional lives.

The royals are currently gathered for their annual summer holiday at Balmoral. It is the first time they have done so since Prince Philip passed, and the queen is facing an especially trying time in her life.

Royal Family News – Prince Andrew Is Facing  Lawsuit

She continues to deal with the foul behavior emanating from the royal runaways Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and this week a lawsuit was brought against her son Prince Andrew.

Virginia Giuffre has brought about legal action against Andrew for, “allegedly sexually assaulting her when she was a teenager.” Andrew denies the allegations.

According to royal expert Charles Rae, the events of the past months will be hanging heavy on the monarch’s shoulder. He said, “I don’t think she’s getting on terribly well at the moment to be perfectly honest.”

How Is Her Majesty Doing?

He went on to say, “It’s bad enough with Harry and Meghan but this thing with Prince Andrew is 10 times more serious.” He added that Andrew is, “never going to come back to public duties.”

The Queen was welcomed to Balmoral by an honor guard featuring a Shetland pony mascot which seemed to delight her.

Royal Family News – How Is The Queen Faring?

Each year the queen and various family members retreat to the Scottish Highlands. This week Andrew was photographed arriving with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. Next came their daughter Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank and their baby August, and other royals are expected to join the group.

Unfortunately it has been reported that the clan will likely be holding “crisis talks” about Andrew’s scandal. Despite the scandal, the queen continues to work in what has been a sanctuary for the royals since Queen Victoria’s day.
