British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry’s U.K. approval rating has been slashed in half in less than five years following a prolonged period of bizarre behavior and vicious rants mostly against his family.

The media is another of Prince Harry’s favorite targets. In June he threatened legal action against the BBC after they reported on his daughter’s birth—such is the level of common sense being exhibited by Harry these days.

Understandably his peculiar behavior has led to an onslaught of negative publicity and a major dip in opinion polls.

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Is The Prince of Rants

In November 2017 Harry aka the Duke of Sussex was more popular in British polls than even his grandmother Queen Elizabeth. That year, coinciding with his engagement to Meghan Markle, he had a 81% approval rating according to pollster YouGov.

At that time 49 percent had a positive view of Meghan.

After the pair shamelessly announced in January 2020 that they were abandoning the family and the monarchy for a life of “financial freedom” Meghan’s popularity plummeted and Harry’s went from 71 percent to 55 percent. Likewise, Meghan’s approval rating dropped from 55 percent to 38 percent, according to the pollster.

Today Harry’s popularity is at an all time low at 31 percent, 50 points below his high at the point of his engagement. YouGov shows that Meghan Markle’s approval rating is in the same basement as Harry’s, at 32 percent.

Newsweek claims that the startling data challenges, “Harry and Meghan’s narrative that the media turned Britain against them. While their decision to step back in January 2020 was criticized within the British press, they had been receiving negative publicity for a considerable time before that point.”

Then the two went on a whirlwind media blitz throwing his family under the bus, and the world has never quite viewed them in the same light they once did. In March Meghan Markle cried to Oprah Winfrey that Kate Middleton made her cry before her wedding.

Sorry Meghan, survey says that you and Harry alone are to blame for your mutual fall from grace. Your narrative involves, “claims her staff found her difficult to work for, allegations of an argument over her wedding day tiara, a backlash against her for wearing black nail polish, criticism over how much she touched her baby bump and a now infamous story in The Daily Mail linking her love of avocado’s with human rights and environmental problems.”
