British royal family news shows that there is a simple solution to the so-called rift between Prince Harry and Prince William. According to one royal watcher, it all comes down to the status quo. Royal biographer Robert Lacey wrote Battle of Brothers about the princes and he has the fix for the estrangement said to be affecting the bros.

“I expect that is the long-term solution here: Duty in the form of William and Kate will take over the situation, and Harry and his love will enjoy the freedom of America and, I hope, obviously there will be some sort of reconciliation.”

What exactly caused the gap between the formerly close brothers? By all accounts, Meghan Markle is a big part of the reason. Specifically it has been said that when William tried to impart some brotherly advice, Harry went ballistic. It has been alleged that the Duke of Cambridge cautioned Harry to, “take things slow,” when he began dating Meghan in 2017.

Another source claimed that William is, “very anxious’ to keep the calls ‘low key and casual.’”

The brothers may meet up this summer for the unveiling of a Princess Diana statue at Kensington Palace this summer and at that time a picture will tell a thousand words.
