Sarah Ferguson’s New Morning Show Job?

British royal family news indicates that sources close to the clan are saying that Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, and live-in roommate, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, could become the next ‘This Morning’ host.

Royal Family News – Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York Back to Work?

Known as Fergie, Sarah Ferguson already has a podcast and is a published author. She is comfortable in the public eye, last week guest hosting on Loose Women.

According to The Mirror she is in the running as a “long-term replacement host on the U.K.’s This Morning.”

Royal Family News – Fergie A TV Host?

As the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, Fergie has known her share of scandal. During the 1990s and early 2000s she was in the headlines nearly as much as Meghan Markle.

Sarah Ferguson's New Morning Show Job?

Like Meghan, she has not quite left the royal clan, as she still lives with her disgraced husband and is mother to their two daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Plus, she has been allowed to keep the Duchess of York title.

She is not a stranger to the media as she has appeared on numerous talk shows and podcasts, and sources told The Mirror that “her stint on Loose Women was a fan-favorite. That’s what prompted the producers on This Morning to begin considering her.”

Royal Family News – Is Fergie Launching A New Career?

Pop Culture reports “Everyone thought she was a natural. There is an open invitation for her to return to Loose Women and there is also talk of her doing a guest slot on This Morning or a mini-series for them. She has done quite a lot of TV work before – at one point she stood in for Larry King in the U.S.”

If Fergie agrees, it is thought that she would take on the This Morning role left empty by Holly Willoughby. In October Willough left due to an “alleged kidnapping plot … and she decided to quit her TV job out of concern for herself and her family.”

The stunning exit came just months after Willoughby’s “long-time co-host, Phillip Schofield was fired amid sexual misconduct allegations. The loss of these two personalities halted nearly two decades of inertia on the show, and according to a report by the BBC the series is wide open for possible rebranding.”

Royal Family News – Will A Royal Be a TV Fixture?

Fergie is not without public blemish however. Most Brits will never forget her infamous “toe-sucking” scandal with her lover, the pics of which led to her divorce from Andrew.

“She was also embroiled in a cash-for-access scandal in 2010 when she was accused of taking bribes from businessmen in exchange for meetings with Prince Andrew.”

She has vociferously defended Andrew despite his friendship with dead convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Last year Andrew was stripped of his royal perks after paying off a woman who accused him of having sex with her when she was an underage sex trafficking victim of Epstein.
