The royal family wants the York Sisters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, to keep their distance from Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle. And apparently, they have a good reason for it. Keep reading below for everything that you need to know.

It seems as though  the royal family want the York sisters to stay away from Harry and Meghan because they are worried that either Princess Eugenie or Princess Beatrice might relay insider information to the Sussexes.

Now, that’s not to say that the York sisters are prone to gossip, but it seems like the royals also don’t want any miscommunication, either. Should that happen, it will turn into a ‘he said, she said’ kind of situation.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “For the King, Camilla, and the Waleses, it’s rather unfortunate that Eugenie and Beatrice are so close with the Sussexes.”

The insider added, “[Beatrice and Eugenie are] still privy to a lot of what’s happening inside Buckingham Palace, so there’s a concern about what they’re telling them, and what they could reveal – even unintentionally.”

Royal Family News- The Yorks Are The Only Cousins Harry Has Left

Now, whether or not the York sisters will keep their distance from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is anyone’s guess. But it’s also highly unlikely that it’s going to happen.

Soon after the Invictus Games were over in Germany, Harry and Meghan flew to Portugal to spend some time with Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank and their family.

Harry might not have a relationship with his brother Prince William anymore, but he still has a tight bond with his cousin and that’s something he probably won’t let go of. Plus, she’s the only family member that Harry has got left.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter. Watch this space as we have a feeling that there is more juicy royal drama to come.
