This Prince Harry Lie Calls Into Question The Truth Of His Memoir “Spare”

When Prince Harry announced the coming of his memoir “Spare,” he promised that it would be a “wholly truthful” account of his life, from the Prince he was born as to the man he became.

However, when “Spare” dropped, there was an account to which there could be no doubt was a lie in the Prince’s own book, which called into question his so-called memories and general truthfulness.

Anyway, supposing we could get past Harry confusing his location as regards to where he received the news of his great-grandmother’s death, this new business of drug-using and visa application is giving birth to so much uncomfortable situations that Harry can no doubt wish for its continuance.

Apart from his struggles growing up as the “Spare” of the family, Harry also detailed taking drugs, which he freely confessed he did even as a teenager.

Writing about taking drugs at 17, Harry wrote in “Spare,” “At someone’s house, during a hunting weekend, I was offered a line, and since then I had consumed some more. It wasn’t very fun, and it didn’t make me feel especially happy as seemed to happen to others, but it did make me feel different, and that was my main objective.To feel. To be different.”

Even after getting married, relocating to the US, and having children, Harry revealed he continued taking drugs.

In another part of the book, Harry said he enjoys a bit of bud whenever he’s put the kids to bed in Montecito, writing, “Late at night, with everyone asleep, I’d walk the house, checking the doors and windows. Then I’d sit on the balcony or the edge of the garden and roll a joint.”

To all this, Harry’s lawyer John Bardo argues that it’s possible the Prince made it up just to sell books.

Of course if he could make up taking drugs just to sell books, one wonders what else he didn’t make up.

Speaking to The Sun, royal photographer Arthur Edwards said: “The Royal Family have not really ever hit back about things that he said but now we’ve actually got a US court judging whether his book is true or not.”
