British royal family news shows that Cupid is busy arching his bow and arrow this month as happy couples the world over look forward to some Valentine’s Day romance. The royal family is full of beautiful love stories and here are three of their most amazing romantic fairytales.

Royal Family News – The Prince And Princess Of Wales

Prince William and Princess Kate will one day be King and Queen Consort, following the reign of his father King Charles III. The public is in love with the bright and cultured couple who met in 2001 while students at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

There Kate the Princess of Wales studied art history, but she caught William’s eye when she strutted her stuff in a school fashion show.

While they may appear the picture of perfection, their first meeting will warm the hearts of everyone who has ever had an awkward first date: “Kate is reported to have curtsied to her future husband when they first met, with William responding by spilling a drink on himself.” Hello! reported that William said: “When I first met Kate, I knew there was something very special about her, and I knew there was something I wanted to explore there.” Aw!

Royal Family News – The Queen And The Duke Of Edinburgh

Before they were married, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip met in 1934 at the wedding of Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark and Prince George, Duke of Kent. Five years later they met again, this time at the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth, and soon began corresponding.

According to Hello! “In 1946, Philip asked King George VI for his daughter’s hand in marriage, the pair were married the following year.”

Philip died at the age of 99 in 2021 and the Queen’s passed away last September. They are now resting together in eternal peace in the King George VI memorial chapel.

Royal Family News – Zara And Mike Tindall

Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall bring an exciting energy to the royal family, he is a former rugby star and she was an Olympic equestrian. Mike just competed in the reality show, I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here and Zara was waiting with a big hug when he was sent home from the jungle. They were introduced by her cousin, Prince Harry in 2003 at the Rugby World Cup in Sydney.
