90 Day Fiance – John Yates Dragged Into Investigation Of Paul Staehle?

90 Day Fiance star Paul Steahle was reported as missing in the Amazon and Influencer John Yates jumped on the story to try and track him down.

Now, rumors suggest that this effort to find the TLC star and establish if he was alive, could have landed him in hot water. It appears that he might end up being dragged into an investigation of Paul. What is going on? Read on to find out. 

 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – The Missing Paul Staehle Saga

It was Karine who notified that her estranged husband was missing. John discovered that Paul was alive and spoke with his mom.

Apparently, Paul sent texts to his mother who was out of her mind with worry. Friends chipped in their thoughts, and eventually, it emerged that he was apparently stuck on an island with hostile local people He needed a boat to get back home to where he stayed in Brazil. Eventually, he was rescued.

The 90 Day Fiance star confirmed he was alive but suffering from insect bites. Later, he was seen in a photo after returning to Manaus.

When he returned, he said that he wasn’t missing. In fact, he just had boat problems after he went on a break to a lodge in the Amazon.

He also claimed his phone had problems with charging and connectivity. However, it seems that the whole thing might have been related to an investigation into Paul. Read on to find out how this might implicate John Yates. 

90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – John Yates Is In Trouble With The Law?

John is angry with Paul. And, it seems if there is truth in his communications with a source, he should be. In a series of posts on Instagram, he outed Paul who allegedly said some nasty things to his concerned mother. If you do not know, Paul went to Brazil after he was featured on a wanted-person poster. That came when he took Pierre away from where he should been after CPS took custody of the kids. So, many people suspected he went to Brazil to escape charges by the police. 

90 Day Fiance fans saw that Paul was angry because his mom mentioned “court”. Presumably, his mom had talked about it to someone and it related to the custody of the kids.  Alternatively, there is some other court case going on. John wrote:

You left me no choice. Ladies and gentleman meet the real Paul Staehle. Someone who is cursing out his mom while she was worried if her son was dead for 3 straight days. This was right after he told her that he was still in danger and living on the same island and was still stuck there on a hammock. The only thing Paul cared about was court. If I had ANYTHING to do with this he wouldn’t be yelling at her about me. Keep it up Paul cause there’s plenty more where this came from. And to the idiot who’s saying I’m in some sort of trouble I’ll be happy to give the embassy, the Manaus Police, and Kentucky family court everything I have on this matter.”

 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers –  What Was The Allegation Of John Yates Being In Trouble?

The 90 Day Fiance influencer shared a screenshot of a warning from someone who messaged him. That person claimed that there’s an “investigation” going on in Brazil by the cops. So, that might mean visa problems for Paul. Allegedly, John’s live posts and calls were logged by the police and Brazil is requesting the USA to help them get ahold of John. The allegation is that it involves some sort of “embezzlement” and assisting with trying to locate Paul means that John could be treated as an “accomplice.”
