Her daughter May is currently staying with her grandparents in the U.S. 90 Day Fiancé fans want to know how much of what she shares is real. Some fans think she’s staying in a Moroccan AirBnB, not with Azan at his family home.

90 Day Fiancé fans assumed Nicole and Azan were going to get married during their time together in Morocco. An inside source close to the couple told In Touch Weekly that it’s not happening anytime soon. The TLC stars are making the most of their extended stay due to the coronavirus pandemic. But they are not taking the next step in their relationship.

“Her family isn’t aware of there being any kind of wedding planning at the moment,” the inside source said. “If it’s happening, it would be a shock to them. Nicole would want her close family there and May for sure, so her family thinks she wouldn’t go and get married behind their backs.”

Finances have been a problem for the couple. Most international weddings aren’t cheap right now. Nicole even quit her job to visit her fiancé. She won’t have money for the time being. The insider told the outlet that she’s saving up enough to get married in Morocco. Nicole knows that flying out her entire family will be a challenge. “No one sees it happening in the near future,” the source added.

90 Day Fiancé has also wondered whether Azan truly wants to commit to Nicole. Some have even wondered if he’s married already. Soap Dirt previously reported with an inside source that this rumor could be true.

“The leak says that Azan Tefou married his cousin when he was 19,” an insider said. “And, as an added kicker, [the 90 Day Fiancé source] also says that Nicole Nafziger knew about the marriage the entire time. She found out when she got the paperwork together to marry Azan. In Morocco, a man can have up to four wives. But, the first wife has to provide written permission in-person in order to marry.”

While this doesn’t provide hard evidence, it’s a rumor that fans have suspected over the years. The inside source remains anonymous for now, but more details could emerge in the future. It could be the reason why Nicole and Azan aren’t planning to get married.
