On the April 12 episode of 90 Day Fiance, the couple headed out so Lisa could meet her future mother-in-law. However, before they got there, they had to stop and buy a goat. Lisa was told that it would be a sign of respect if she came and presented the goat to Usman’s mother.

The whole goat shopping incident was quite the experience. Lisa didn’t understand the currency, so Usman pulled out literally a stack of bills to pay for it. Plus, Lisa thought that she was being overcharged because she was white.

There was no mention of if he loved her or that he was the one that proposed marriage. He also lied to his mother and told her that Lisa was a doctor. The whole conversation showed that Usman really doesn’t’ want to go through with this marriage.

Of course, Usman’s mom told them the answer was no, she would not give her blessing. Perhaps Lisa should have bought more goats?

Fans couldn’t help but feel a little bit bad for Lisa as Usman showed his devious side. Of course, fans can’t forget how awful Lisa has treated him. It’s like she’s not looking for a husband, but a child. She’s incredibly abusive, toxic, and controlling.

Plus, was the goat really a sign of respect for Usman’s mom? Or was it just Usman’s way of making sure his family was fed and another way to get money out of his not-so-blushing bride? Perhaps Lisa should have offered to buy the whole farm… but that still might have not been enough to fix this sham of a romance.
