Disney Reveals Over 850 Titles Arriving To DisneyPlus U.K. Launch

Disney has unveiled over 850 titles that’s arriving to Disney+ U.K. launch. Over 350 series and 500 films will be available on the streaming service when it launches in the U.K. and other European territories on March 24. Disney has finally revealed every movie and television show that will be available on the Disney+ streaming service in the U.K.

The long list of content was revealed a day after the studio was cancelled a European Disney+ launch event due to ever-growing coronavirus fears. The event was originally scheduled to take place in London on Thursday evening and Friday morning. The entire launch package for Disney+ U.K. will feature over 500 films and 350 television series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It’ll also feature over 26 exclusive Disney+ Originals.

The offering includes titles from Disney, National Geographic, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, and other content including Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Finding Dory, Jane, Science Fair, Star Wars, Toy Story 4, and more.

When it comes to Original content, all of the titles that have launched in the U.S. will also be in the U.K., including the live-action film of Lady and the Tramp, Diary of a Future President, The Mandalorian, and The World According to Jeff Goldblum.

Disney+ Goes Worldwide – What Will Other Countries Stream?

Disney+ in the U.K. will be similar to the U.S. version of the streaming service. It’ll also feature Seasons 1-30 of The Simpsons, which boasts over 600 episodes. Season 31 will be available starting November 2020. Disney+ will also launch in Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland on March 24, in addition to the U.K. It will also roll out to Western European markets, including Belgium, the Nordics, and Portugal, this summer. The content availability in each market will greatly vary depending on licensing rights.
