However, producers also carefully avoided releasing too many details. But photos that went viral on social media revealed some of that action. For instance, the pictures indicated that the show has begun filming the episode on location in New York City. And the photos also showed which cast members will appear.

As a result, social media lit up with enthusiasm. Some photos showed Det. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) leaving a courtroom with a fictional celebrity. That role, portrayed by Julia Goldani Telles, appears to draw its characterization from Amber Heard. And the photos also showed fan support, with fans waving placards supporting either the female celeb (Amber) or the male celeb (assumed to draw its characterization from Johnny Depp).

When Does Law And Order SVU Season 24 Premiere?

Twitter went especially wild over the photos showing the filming. For instance, pics showing fictional fans with lookalike posters supporting either the female or male celeb went viral. And as one fan tweeted in response, “This is such a great show. I feel they will do Justice to the relevant issues.”

However, others wanted more details on the upcoming season of Law And Order SVU. But so far, producers refuse to leak episode specifics. For instance, except for photos, no information on how the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard episode will get turned into fiction emerged. But the scene outside the fictional courtroom does appear to follow that of the two real-life celebrities’ trial.
