NBC’s Hit Drama Set To Return

Heroes fans felt unsatisfied after the first reboot. It didn’t hold up to their standards. The series is set to make another comeback.

According to Deadline, Heroes: Eclipsed will be the spinoff of the 2006 reboot. The show’s creator, Tim Kring, wrote the new spinoff and has pitched it to NBC and streaming platforms.

Eclipse will take place years after the original reboot. A celestial event occurred on the show, resulting in the new logo. Casting has yet to be announced. Some familiar faces will return.

“New evos are being awakened and discovering powers that will change their lives,” the synopsis on Deadline reads.

The 2006 series starred Ali Larter, Hayden Panettiere, Jack Coleman, Masi Oka, Milo Ventimiglia, Zachary Quinto, and other cast members. It lasted four seasons. The show concluded in 2010. Producers moved forward with the reboot, Heroes: Reborn in 2015.

The spinoff took place years after the original series. It featured fresh faces that confused fans. It also saw the return of Zachary Levi. More human beings realized they have magical powers. The first reboot didn’t go over well with fans. Most of them are upset over the news of another reboot.

Heroes Spoilers – Fans React

The news exploded on X, formerly Twitter, where most of the reaction took place. Most of the fans took to the post asking the creators to move on. “MOVE ON,” one fan explicitly stated.

“Nope, I’m done,” writes another fan. “Oh god the last reboot was such a stinker,” noted a third user.

“Let it go. The moment passed 2 decades ago,” wrote another. “Although I enjoyed it for the most part the first time around, please no. Just… No,” begged another.

There have been complaints about reboots of reboots. There is also news that there will be another reboot of Melrose Place and The X-Files. Television viewers are exhausted.

Most of them were willing to cut the cord with cable and cancel their streaming services if that’s all Hollywood has to offer.
