The Blacklist Spoilers: Is Anne Dead Or Just Off in A Coma Somewhere? The Blacklist spoilers reveal that this season there are plenty of riddles to solve as usual, but one, in particular, has fans wondering. The Blacklist season 8 episode 15 brings into focus a question that is causing all sorts of speculation: Is Anne (LaChanze) really dead?

Or could it be that she in fact survived what went down between her and Liz Keen (Megan Boone)? Here’s what we know so far.

The Blacklist Spoilers – Is Anne Really Dead?

Raymond Reddington (James Spader) paid a visit to Anne’s daughter to tell her that her mom was dead. At the same time, he was going to give her a significant amount of cash. The daughter had no idea who this guy is but she did know that her mom was involved with a criminal mastermind.

Despite the visit, fans are not certain that Anne is really dead and gone. Fans are speculating like mad on social media about this whodunit and there are several theories being floated about as to why Anne may not be dead.

The Blacklist Spoilers – Can Anne Be Truly Dad And Gone?

First and foremost, Reddington said at one point that Anne “has” a daughter. This would indicate that Anne is not really dead, ie, is still here in the land of the living. Why else would he use the present tense in referring to her?

He later backtracked but eagle-eared fans caught this happenstance and are using it to speculate about Anne’s whereabouts, either here on earth or somewhere else.

Also, if Anne is dead Reddington doesn’t seem all that mad about it in regard to Liz.

But there’s another reason for all the speculation about Anne’s soul. Fans never actually saw her lowered into the cold, hard ground. At the end of the episode titled “Misere” the character was never pronounced as dead, plus there was no funeral.

This means that everyone has to believe Reddington’s version of this story. Is he a liar? Not usually but he may have a reason no one yet knows about. Could he in fact be protecting Anne?

Along this train of thought, some have conjectured that Anne is actually laying in a coma somewhere or otherwise in a state of altered reality. What do you think Blacklist fans? Is Anne dead or alive and why would Reddington say she is dead if she isn’t?
