The initial seven episodes of season one averaged a remarkable 19 million viewers after 35 days, outpacing many popular shows across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms.

Justin Hartley shared insights about Russell’s storyline in this episode with TV Insider, stating, “Russell is quite heroic in Episode 2, and they find themselves entangled in a bizarre black ops situation.”

He further noted, “Suddenly, government officials start inquiring about our dad, and it leaves you thinking, ‘What’s going on here?'”
