Vanderpump Rules Alum Brittany Cartwright Files For Divorce

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor are ending their marriage after months of separation. The Vanderpump Rules alums tried to fix things for the sake of their son, Cruz but eventually, the Bravo stars ran out of room to repair their broken relationship. Read on to find out more. 

Bravo Fans Had Hope For Jax Taylor

When Jax Taylor married Brittany, Bravo fans felt skeptical that it would last. After all, he’d cheated on her in the past. However, he seemed thrilled that he had become a dad. In fact, he seemed to try hard to be a good husband and father. For a while, sweet family scenes arrived on social media. However, the skeptics ended up proving to be right and it’s all over now. 

Brittany Cartwright left Jax and stayed in an Airbnb. In the meantime, he decided to check himself into a mental health facility. The former Vanderpump Rules star seemed to have many anger issues. Some skeptics believe that when he checked out, it was just to protect his place in the new The Valley show. 

Brittany Cartwright Files For Divorce 

The news that the divorce was filed came via TMZ this week. Although it was not unexpected, some Bravo fans probably feel sad that it all ended so badly. Now, their cute little boy will grow up in a broken home. Nobody wanted that for the little man despite his father’s failings.

According to the outlet, Brittany Cartwright filed this Tuesday and seems determined to end her five-year marriage. The documents noted that her reasons were the standard “irreconcilable differences” clause. Apparently, she listed the date of their original separation as “January 24, 2024.”

Divorce Details 

The Bravo star has no interest in spousal support and requested “to block the ability of the court to award spousal support to either of them.”

It’s not clear why Brittany filed this week, but it could relate to the fact that he left the mental health facility. That, however, is pure speculation. Spoilers for The Valley do suggest that fans will see the emotional breakup between the two former Vanderpump Rules stars. 

It seems sad because Bravo fans can remember their magical wedding at the Kentucky Castle in Versailles, KY. They will also recall Jax Taylkor’s delight at becoming a father. One thing that fans know, he will most likely fight hard if Brittany tries to go for limited custody of their child. At the moment, she is open to him visiting the child.
