5 Reasons Why The Young and The Restless Rosales Family Should Stay In Genoa City

CBS The Young and The Restless updates and spoilers reveal while it always seems as though they have one foot in and one foot out the door, The Young and the Restless fans would love to see more of The Rosales family in Genoa City. Here are just five reasons why.

A Family Just As Dramatic As The Newmans and Abbotts

While the Rosales family might not have the kind of position, power, or even bank accounts that the Newman and Abbott family have, there’s no denying that they certainly do deliver plenty of drama. As a matter of fact, ever since the Rosales siblings made their debut in Genoa City, they’ve managed to make up, break up, and shack their way up the Abbott and Newman clans.

From Arturo Rosales’ (Jason Canela) disastrous engagement to Abby Newman, (Melissa Ordway) Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) disappointing marriage to Kyle Abbott, (Michael Mealor) and of course, Rey’s hot, heavy, but also confusing romance to Sharon, things haven’t been boring, to say the least.

Lola Rosales’ Headed Towards Dangerous Territory

Perhaps the one person who has been the center of all of the drama has been Lola Rosales. Even though she truly did put her heart into her relationship and marriage with Kyle Abbott, she ended up getting totally heartbroken when he decided to lock lips with Summer Newman behind Lola’s back.

If that weren’t enough, Lola seems to be headed towards dangerous ground in her new relationship with Theo Vanderway. (Tyler Johnson) If she couldn’t trust Kyle to be a loyal and loving partner, does she really think that she can trust Theo? There’s a good chance Lola will end up learning her lesson the hard way.

Possible Hook Up Between Rey Rosales And Victoria Newman

Speaking of hot and heavy romances, Rey has been getting very busy with Sharon Newman. (Sharon Case) Unfortunately for Rey though, Sharon isn’t very into him. While the passion is certainly there between the sheets, each time Rey tries to get close to Sharon on an emotional level, she pushes him away.

For Rey, there’s only so many times that a handsome man like him can get rejected before getting the hint, right? Lucky for him, there are plenty of other beautiful, single women in Genoa City, including Victoria Newman. (Amelia Heinle) Now that would be a pairing that would get everyone talking!

The Mystery Behind Rey’s Ex-Wife And Her Pregnancy

If all of the above weren’t enough, there’s also the fact that the mystery behind Rey’s ex-wife Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) and her pregnancy has never been resolved. Sure, a DNA test might have proven that the baby actually belongs to Rey’s brother Arturo and not him, but seeing how they are so closely related as brothers, the test results could still be contested.

Plus, it seemed way too convenient for Mia and Arturo to leave Genoa City the way they did. You can’t just sleep with your brother’s wife, get her pregnant, and think that everything is going to still be okay, right? Rey needs to get to the bottom of things and find out the truth!

A Possible Affair Between Celeste And Jack?

When Rey, Arturo, and Lola’s mother Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) first came to Genoa City to see what was going on between her daughter and the untrustworthy Kyle Abbott (the Rosales brothers were certainly right on that one), there was no denying the sparks between her and Jack Abbott. In fact, many The Young and the Restless fans even expressed their hope in seeing the two of them get together.

With Celeste being the beautiful, feisty Latina that she is, she would definitely give Jack the much-needed flavor that he needs in his life right now. Plus, seeing their parents together would give Lola and Kyle a good shock to the system. As turbulent as their relationship was, we have a feeling that Celeste and Jack’s would be quite the opposite. It would be the kind of love affair that generations of Y&R fans would be talking about for years.
